Balanced Emphasis on Scholastic and Co-Scholastic Areas
At Shiine School, we place a balanced and integrated focus on both scholastic and co-scholastic areas to enrich and enhance the learning experience for our students. We believe that a holistic approach to education is key to nurturing well-rounded individuals. The co-scholastic areas play a vital role in assessing and shaping the personality development of students, encouraging them to grow beyond academics.
“Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence.” – Abigail Adams

Our co-scholastic assessment covers four key areas, with students being evaluated on a five-point grading scale:
- Life Skills – This includes the development of critical thinking, social skills, and emotional intelligence, empowering students to handle life’s challenges with confidence.
- Work Education – Practical skills and hands-on experiences are emphasized to prepare students for real-world applications, fostering a sense of responsibility and work ethics.
- Visual and Performing Arts – Creative expression through art, music, drama, and dance is encouraged, allowing students to explore their artistic talents and build self-confidence.
- Attitudes and Values – Students are assessed on their attitude towards teachers, peers, school programs, and the environment. The development of a strong value system, from primary to secondary levels, is fundamental in shaping their character and moral outlook.
At Shiine School, we believe that co-scholastic activities complement academic achievements and are integral to developing responsible, empathetic, and socially conscious individuals. By focusing on both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, we aim to provide our students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
